About Us
J & S Huskies is all about our love for our dogs. We wanted a dog that we could involve in our day to day activities; a dog that we didn’t need to leave behind when we went hiking, backpacking, or camping. Having raised all kinds of dogs from pure breeds to rescues, we looked for a breed that had the interest, energy, and drive to participate in the outdoor activities we love. Enter Willow. From day walks to week-long backpacking treks, Willow has shredded trails with the best! She loves the outdoors and wakes up happy and motivated every morning. Even in the warmth and comfort of home, Willow and the rest of our pack eagerly await (and sometimes they just take it upon themselves) our waking. They are our joy!
There is no other breed that has quite the personality that the Husky has and is known for. They are communicative and curious, quirky and derpy. They study things, they learn, they love. You can see the wheels of understanding turning behind their intelligent eyes as they investigate the unknown or analyze ways to defeat whatever security methods you’ve put in place --our Willow can open her crate... and then she lets everyone else out!
It is our desire to bring this special breed to those who would challenge themselves with a dog that is more than just a dog. Your Siberian Husky will become a family member who will change your world in ways you couldn’t have predicted; you will laugh, you will cry, you will cry because you are laughing so hard, you will love and you will be loved.
It is our hope to provide you with a healthy, well adjusted puppy full of wonder, just awaiting YOU to share the curiosities of the world with.
